Two days of sleeping in until about 10am, and then just puttering about. Fighting a cold, (cough, splutter, hack, and its blowing and damp outside as we're about to hit the middle of winter, and as Deano used to sing (Baby it's Cold Outside).
An early start for the next week or so, as I'm back doing day shifts (06.30 - 14.30) but that's OK. Last night was movie night at home (courtesy of Quickflix. Tonight I've been reading some of the blogs of the people who attended Gnomdex late last week.
The movie, the Fighting Sullivans, was incredible, and focused on the early family life of the five sons of this tragic but proud family who lost all five of the band of brothers on the one warship, when the USS Juneau was torpedoes in the Battle of Guadalcanal in WW2. It was amazing and the actors (mum, dad, the priest, the kids and everyone involved were really incredible. If you haven't seen this, or haven't seen it for a long time, I'd highly recommend you keep and eye out for it.
