So there I was, reading my blogroll at Crimsonblog, alphabetically, and I get down to Todd's web page, read his sassy comments about my humble self, dash off a quick reply, click the back bar and get the white screen of death, unable to find the page. Damn, and I still had about 5-6 blogs to read. The blogroll here at the esteemed TypePadisn't alphabetical and is mishy, mashy, because I don't think the latest update section is working. I'm sure I ticked it, but its no big deal.
Anyway, yes it is cold. I am wearing my Berghaus RG1 nifty blue jacket, but because I'm inside the beanie isn't on. I've got about 15 minutes to go before getting a quick Thai feed, and then heading down to Heffron Hall (where choirpractice. I place the chairs, about 60-80 of them in four rows, with an aisle in the middle, then sit down, and ark the rolls and collect rehearsal fees, harrass latecomers and try to sing with the basses when we start practice at 7pm. It's great fun, and in a weird, warped way its relaxing. We're competing in the City of Sydney Eistedfodd this weekend. Heats on Saturday night at the Willoughby Town Hall, and if we make the finals, they're on Sunday at the City Recital Hall, in Angel Place, which is just of Martin Place, near the Cenotaph.
I had a quick visit at the Apple store in Darlinghurst. Seriously thinking about iPods, and laptops, but not sure whether I want an iBook, PowerMac, or an XP such as Dell or Thinkpad. I'll probably end up settling for the Dell, but that's still weeks away.
Tomorrow I'll be running around like a headless chook; haircut, laundry, hospital visit, toy shopping, and if time permits I want to see Travelling Birds (called Migrating Birds elsewhere).
Time zones etc probably mean it'll be Saturday before we get to here about prices etc. Because of the
hectic shedule this weekend I don't think I'll get too much chance to blog.
We'll see what occurs tomorrow night.
